Bodile's Nu ArT
​
Bodile Nu Arts , through its development over the years, has made it our mission to provide working resources, education, and training for youth and adults in the area of developing applied arts as a communal function.
Artistic director
G.Bodile Balams
Artist G. Bodile Balams was born January, of 1958 in Mobile, AL, and began drawing at a young age. His first one man exhibition was in 1975, while graduating ‘Art Elite’ from his high school. His education continued at Morehouse college. While attending Morehouse he created significant pieces of paintings, drawings, and sculptures. To date he has painted three series which include Patterns in Africa, John Henry When he was a Boy, and New Art for New Minds. His work is amongst numerous private and corporate collections

Artist G. Bodile Balams, has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout his career as an artist, fulfilling his need to share his artistic Vision with all those who came to participate. Balams, served as board member for the Select Publishing Corporation for Three Years and board member for the Cultural Alliance of greater Birmingham for a number of years. He is currently serving as board member for Natures Garden for Victory and Peace, acting as Chairman of the Artist Village Program. He continues to work and study as an artist after nearly four decades.
